Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide detailed pit and rehabilitation designs to support performance targets, mine plans, and budgets.
  • •Seek safe and cost-effective mining and rehabilitation design solutions and drive continuous improvements.
  • •Prepare detailed pit designs and develop associated ore and waste extraction plans.
  • •Create initial rehabilitation profiles before mining begins and design final landscapes after mining is complete.
  • •Support life-of-mine planning, rolling 36-month plans, and short-term plans (up to 12 weeks) through detailed design work and communicate requirements to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mine and Engineering Surveying, or an equivalent discipline.

  • •Working knowledge of mine planning tools, ideally Minesight, Atlas, or Surpac.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multi-discipline technical teams.
