Job Summary

Lead customer-facing PCI DSS ASV external scanning engagements as a subject matter expert. Analyze and validate client-submitted PCI ASV scans, investigate disputes using evidence review and independent verification (including lab recreations), and guide customers through the scan submission process. Collaborate with Technical Support Engineers to resolve escalated issues, troubleshoot complex findings, and improve PCI ASV workflows while maintaining PCI ASV certifications and CPE hours.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and validate client-submitted PCI ASV scans for attestation in line with PCI DSS standards.
•Investigate customer-submitted scan disputes by reviewing evidence, performing independent verification, and recreating scenarios in a lab environment.
•Guide customers through the PCI ASV scan submission process and provide consultative advice on scan findings.
•Collaborate with Technical Support Engineers to handle PCI-related inquiries accurately and in a way that supports client success.
•Resolve escalated customer issues by troubleshooting complex technical findings and making optimal solution decisions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 52,500 - 69,833.33 annually

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of information security experience, including 1+ year in vulnerability scanning and/or penetration testing and 2+ years in at least two areas such as network, application, system security, IT security auditing, or IT security risk assessment.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (Information Technology or Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
•Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systems administration and security posturing.
•In-depth knowledge of networking and network devices, including deployment and typical configurations.
•Knowledge of CVSS scoring and using NVD to verify CVEs, plus experience in vulnerability scans and web app configuration scanning.
