Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain active HSE coverage in field operations and ensure unsafe acts/conditions are addressed before work proceeds
  • •Support and review risk assessments and field-level safety documents (JSA/Method Statements, Take-5, Journey Management Plans)
  • •Monitor remote-site safety, including vehicle access, terrain hazards, PPE, hydration, communications, and emergency equipment
  • •Conduct daily toolbox talks and practical HSE awareness (heat stress, fatigue, manual handling, buddy system, emergency response/first aid awareness)
  • •Report incidents and unsafe conditions, support investigations and corrective actions, and maintain daily/weekly/monthly HSE records and reports
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience as an HSE Officer / Safety Officer in a field-based environment
  • •Experience in remote field operations such as desert, mining, exploration, geophysics, construction, or oil & gas
  • •Knowledge of risk assessment, JSA/Method Statements, journey management, heat-stress controls, emergency response, and PPE requirements
  • •Physically able to work outdoors frequently, including remote travel and walking over difficult terrain
  • •Fluent English for toolbox talks and producing daily inspection/incident reports
