Job Summary

Design and model the spacecraft CAD architecture for Nyx, leading CAD models in Siemens NX, collaborating with thermal/structural teams to refine architecture, mass budgets, and manufacturing constraints while contributing to co-engineering sessions across propulsion, avionics and system engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•To build the CAD physical models of the vehicle and their sub-systems on Siemens NX (CAD tool) or equivalent and contribute to the choices in terms of overall architecture, aeroshape, equipment accommodation and main materials.
•To lead the design of aerospace components and systems using advanced CAD software.
•To maturate the CAD models by adjusting the architecture, accommodation, structure materials and thicknesses based on the outcomes of the thermo-mechanical computation loops and system trade-offs.
•To collaborate closely with thermal and structural analysts, materials and manufacturing engineers to ensure compliance of the physical architecture with the mission environments and manufacturing constraints.
•To maintain the configuration management of the CAD models.

Key Requirements

•An advanced degree in mechanical, aerospace or manufacturing engineering.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience as CAD design Engineer.
•Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX.
•Strong knowledge on aerospace vehicle design and associated challenges.
•Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
