Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive a tractor-trailer combination or truck (26,000+ GVW) to transport and deliver equipment/materials to assigned locations while complying with DOT and company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • •Operate loading/unloading equipment as needed and maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions following crew signals.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs for working hours and vehicle service/repairs in accordance with regulations.
  • •Secure materials for transport and obtain receipts/signatures while checking that documentation is complete and accurate.
  • •Support internal controls by communicating problems or noncompliance and assisting operations/yard as needed; this role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid Class A (or Class B, depending on available position) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • •Hold a valid medical card.
  • •Have 24 months verifiable Class A or B driving experience within the last 5 years.
  • •Maintain a safe driving record: no more than two moving violations and no more than one preventable accident in the last 3 years.
  • •Be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and be able to use or learn automated systems such as electronic logs.
