Key Responsibilities

•Hire, lead, and develop a team of Data and ML Engineers across data, software, and ML engineering skill sets.
•Own end-to-end analytical and multi-modal data foundations powering reporting, decision support, and experimentation across the Content Promotion & Distribution ecosystem.
•Build and operate ML-ready data pipelines for media, text, and rich metadata to support training and serving for ML and GenAI models.
•Partner across Content Promotion & Distribution DSE, AI ML Platform, Content Engineering, Studio Algo, and Marketing to ideate, prioritize, and execute high-impact data products and tools.
•Set technical strategy and raise the bar for reliable batch/streaming pipelines, governed reusable ML feature and media datasets, and drive alignment on trade-offs and roadmap decisions.

Salary: USD 525,000 - 950,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years leading data engineering teams, including managing managers and larger heterogeneous groups across data, software, and ML engineering.
•Proven track record delivering influential data engineering work in complex business domains, ideally involving multimodal media data, marketing/promotion, experimentation, and ML/AI-driven products.
•Comfort owning both analytics-focused and ML-focused data engineering quality (ETL/ELT, modeling, warehousing, data quality, and ML feature/serving datasets) even if not writing production code daily.
•Strong communication and stakeholder alignment across Director/Manager-level partners, driving decisions with diverse technical and non-technical groups.
•Deep expertise in areas such as media/multimodal asset processing pipelines, ML/experimentation-ready data products, dimensional/semantic modeling, or batch/streaming processing; experience with cloud/big data tools (e.g., S3, Spark, modern data warehouses, workflow orchestration).
