Job Summary

Own materials planning execution using MRP to align purchased materials with manufacturing value streams and operational plans. Lead day-to-day material availability requirements, monitor KPIs, and support internal reporting and analysis. Partner cross-functionally with demand planning, production control, factory operations, program operations, engineering, supply chain, and finance to optimize resources for low-volume, high-mix programs with unique material challenges, fostering safety, compliance, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Align purchased materials to manufacturing value streams and operational plans through MRP.
•Execute day-to-day material availability requirements and create/improve planning processes.
•Monitor key performance indicators and important system health metrics weekly and monthly.
•Provide support to team and leadership for reporting and analysis for internal customers.
•Manage a team of intermediate or experienced leads and foster a safety-, security-, compliance-, and quality-focused environment.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience (or an advanced degree) with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree).
•Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Finance.
•Experience with Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, or Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
•Working knowledge of MRP systems in a manufacturing environment and using data-driven decision making to plan and execute effectively.
•U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the program/contract.
