Analyze molding defects to identify root causes and recommend tooling, machine, material, or process remedies to reduce scrap and waste. Maintain accurate reporting, uphold ISO/SOP/GMP standards, support continuous improvement, and mentor other process technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up equipment and adjust controls to meet production cycle specifications for maximum yields.
•Analyze molding defects to determine root causes and initiate process, tooling, machine, or material remedies.
•Respond to alarms and take corrective action involving quality issues and minor repairs to equipment/molds.
•Maintain detailed reporting on statistics, processes, and procedures; provide accurate and timely data for performance tracking.
•Ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO/SOP/GMP requirements, including housekeeping and assisting with safety reviews of equipment and processes.

Key Requirements

•Capable of physical mobility (sitting, bending, twisting, standing, lifting) and lifting up to 35 lbs periodically.

•Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills and ability to use rulers, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
•Ability to problem-solve and interpret traveler/work orders; working knowledge of molding theory preferred.
