Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement on-prem HPC infrastructure supplemented with cloud computing for NVIDIA’s IT needs.
  • •Design and implement scalable, efficient storage solutions for data-intensive applications, optimizing performance and cost.
  • •Develop tooling to automate deployment/management of large-scale infrastructure, including operational monitoring and alerting and self-service resource consumption.
  • •Document procedures and practices and perform technology evaluations for distributed file systems.
  • •Collaborate across teams to understand developers’ workflows and infrastructure requirements, and influence methodologies for building, testing, and deploying applications for optimal performance and utilization.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience; MS with 5+ years or Ph.D. with 3 years.
  • •8+ years designing technology solutions and resolving performance bottlenecks for HPC applications.
  • •Design, deployment, and management of enterprise NAS/storage solutions (e.g., NetApp, Pure Storage, S3-based storage like Cloudian MinIO).
  • •Experience with parallel/distributed filesystems such as Lustre or GPFS.
  • •Python/Bash/Golang scripting experience, plus strong experience operating services in leading cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
