Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose equipment issues using real-time data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing pump, power, and HVAC equipment in the shop and on customer locations.
  • •Travel to customer job sites as required to perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete repairs, working individually or with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment.
  • •Maintain complete and timely electronic paperwork/documentation and assist with training of lower-level technicians and pick-up/delivery of equipment & parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if needed).
