Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment (electrical/brake/cooling systems, starters/alternators, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related systems).
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions, using tools and test instruments.
  • •Manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Complete DOT forms and Repair Orders documentation, upload work photos/parts/findings, and comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT safety and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as degree/certification or 5 years’ experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Must be able to provide and use a set of required hand tools for the role.
  • •Possess and maintain a current and valid DOT medical card (or successfully complete a DOT physical as required).
  • •Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File; must complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening.
