Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce review, evaluation, and recommendations on interior design proposals aligned with design merits and RTA vision.
  • •Provide technical review of regulations and guidelines for rail and mass transit interior design, architecture, and construction within RTA scope.
  • •Oversee planning and design standards, specifications, and requirements for rail and mass transit interior environments in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Review and audit interior design submissions (architectural, structural, landscape, signage/wayfinding) to ensure compliance with RTA standards and safety codes.
  • •Apply value engineering across interior design packages and drive improvements in design documentation, BIM standards, and digital design review systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • •11+ years of interior design experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 9+ years with a Master’s degree.
  • •Professional certification in Interior Design or Architecture (e.g., NCIDQ, RIBA, or equivalent).
  • •Expertise in reviewing and evaluating interior design proposals for suitability to Dubai and RTA vision.
  • •Knowledge of regulations and guidelines for rail and mass transit interior design, architecture, and construction standards.
