Key Responsibilities

  • •Assure quality and integrity of projects by bringing work in on schedule and within budget using Wood construction management procedures and quality assurance.
  • •Oversee total construction field effort to ensure projects are built according to design, specifications, budgets, and schedules (including projects/subsets above USD 500 million).
  • •Manage construction and contractor-related deliverables; supervise areas on small projects or subsets/disciplines on larger projects.
  • •Coordinate installation, commissioning, and completion activities; manage work schedules to maximize utilization and deliver on time.
  • •Ensure safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities are defined, communicated, and executed, including training, toolbox meetings, inspections, and risk identification/control.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects (> USD 500 million) with construction management and site management focus.
  • •Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company, desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience.
  • •Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • •Must be willing to travel extensively for multi-week periods and adjust work location to support project needs.
  • •Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
