Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, or detailed design analysis and develop designs per project scope, documentation, codes/standards, and company procedures within schedule and budget.
  • •Direct and lead small projects as a Lead Engineer, providing guidance and acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • •Prepare detailed design calculations, analyses, and design reports/procedures, including design philosophies, pipe supports, and standard detail drawings.
  • •Ensure interfaces and deliverables are identified, and coordinate with other departments, HVECs, designers/engineers, and procurement/cost planning teams.
  • •Support 3D-model review at 30%, 60%, and 90%, identify scope changes, and raise notifications/deviation alerts while following health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •8-15 years of oil and gas experience performing detail design for a major contractor or consultant.
  • •Detailed knowledge of Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design phases of projects.
  • •Detailed knowledge of design techniques and application of standards, codes, and guidelines.
  • •Familiarity with piping sub-disciplines (design and modelling, pipe stress & support, piping material engineering, and MTO activities) and international codes/standards like ANSI, ASME, API, BS, and NFPA.
