Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineering Collaboration: Partner directly with VKS Engineers to troubleshoot, architect, and refine the core platform based on real-world edge cases.
  • •Customer Advocacy: Interface with customers to dissect highly complex, distributed systems issues and articulate them back to the product team as actionable roadmaps.
  • •Innovative Problem Solving: Don’t just fix the problem but build tools and patterns that prevent them; develop Day 2 operations solutions that push cloud-native scalability.
  • •Evangelism & Industry Voice: Write deep-dive blog posts, white papers, and technical articles showcasing solutions and contributing to the CNCF community.
  • •Mentorship: Lead field teams by educating them on K8s best practices and ensuring core innovation is adopted by users.

Key Requirements

  • •Kubernetes (K8s) internal expertise and production cluster experience at scale
  • •Certifications: CKA/CKAD required; CKS is a major plus
  • •Bachelor's degree with 12+ years or Master’s with 10+ years of related experience preferred
  • •Strong scripting in Bash or Python; IaC experience with Terraform/Helm; GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux)
  • •Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger/OpenTelemetry for observability
