Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and deploy the Ferrara Site H&OS strategy, objectives, improvement plans, and budget; monitor performance and ensure compliance with statutory and LYB requirements.
  • •Act as officially appointed Site RSPP under D.Lgs. 81/2008; coordinate prevention and protection activities, risk assessment processes, and reporting on H&S compliance.
  • •Develop and implement site H&OS standards, procedures, and governance; manage internal/external audits and ensure findings, safety tours, and surveillance activities are tracked and improved.
  • •Promote safety culture by leading behavioral-based safety processes, reporting and near-miss analysis, recognition, learning, and communicating KPIs for continuous improvement.
  • •Manage site health processes including exposure monitoring and actions with the Company Doctor; ensure DVR/JRA and DUVRI processes are documented and that preventive/protective measures (including PPE) are selected and implemented.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety-related disciplines.
  • •Minimum 8 years’ experience, including in a complex manufacturing environment (strong preference for Chemical & Process).
  • •Proven experience managing teams and budgets in a multinational environment.
  • •Strong preference for past HSEQT experience.
  • •Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) and English (written and spoken).
