Collaborates cross-functionally (Commercial, Selection, Pricing, Marketing, Planning) to align promotional calendars and campaigns, and to optimize category visibility and performance through data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute the category strategy, analyzing market trends, competitors, seasonality, assortment and growth drivers.
•Identify opportunities across Mercado Livre’s ecosystem to drive category development, working with Commercial, Selection, Pricing, Marketing and Planning teams.
•Build and manage the promotional calendar, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and strategic objectives, and map seasonality to sales opportunities.
•Define and coordinate marketing placements and actions to optimize visibility and campaign performance.
•Identify and analyze the best assortment for categories based on performance data, market trends, consumer behavior and competitiveness.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor-level degree in engineering, administration, statistics, data science or related fields
•Proficient in Excel/Google Suite and SQL for data extraction
•Experience in commercial planning, marketing or promotions
•Solid experience in similar roles and in category development
•Strong analytical and collaborative skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
