Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage capital project installation end-to-end and follow up as required.
  • •Identify and research opportunities to improve productivity and safety; troubleshoot plant productivity issues.
  • •Maintain knowledge of machinery and equipment and assist plants with equipment specification.
  • •Conduct machinery safety and guarding audits and complete safety start-up checklists for new installations.
  • •Evaluate manufacturing processes using tools such as waste walks, value stream mapping, 5S, setup reduction, and TPM; coordinate CI training and share learnings.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related discipline or equivalent.
  • •Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and Lean principles (5S, Kanban, standardized work, value stream mapping, setup reduction, Visual Factory).
  • •Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in related areas.
  • •Ability to apply business math to manufacturing processes and organize/prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office and other business/engineering software (AutoCAD), and ability to lead projects/people.
