Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead independent underwriting for new and renewal opportunities within an assigned wholesale banking portfolio.
  • •Perform in-depth credit risk analysis of financial statements, industry dynamics, collateral, and guarantor support.
  • •Prepare short- and long-term financial projections using Moody’s Risk Analyst or Excel.
  • •Monitor assigned portfolio performance and trends to maintain risk rating integrity, covenant compliance, and remediation follow-through.
  • •Coordinate with Relationship Managers and internal/external stakeholders, participate in client calls, and support compliance reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 7+ years of experience in a commercial lending environment.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert in aligned industry, commercial credit and lending concepts, practices, and regulations.
  • •Strong ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows for commercial and/or real estate borrowers.
  • •Proficiency in financial statement spreading and preparing pro-forma statements using Moody’s or other software.
  • •Advanced written, analytical, and communication skills to make complex credit decisions and manage multiple projects.
