Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect the assigned pipeline area by vehicle or foot for leaks and other irregularities; record equipment and rectifier readings on schedule.
  • •Liaise with public utility personnel, property owners, and general contractors regarding construction within pipeline easements and Right-of-Way.
  • •Check Underground Service Alerts (USA), arrange meetings with contractors regarding digging procedures, and help with legal notification field delivery.
  • •Receive and check out Line Flier reports, initiate repair requests, and complete daily logs and related paperwork.
  • •Locate and mark pipelines using electronic locating equipment/probes and drawings; install or replace markers, prepare as-built drawings, and perform equipment upkeep.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or college is a plus.
  • •1–3 years experience in pipeline construction, maintenance, or operations environment.
  • •Must pass and maintain applicable Operator Qualification requirements (OQ).
  • •Valid state driver’s license; pass the Commercial Motor Vehicle physical.
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions; basic Microsoft application proficiency.
