Job Summary

Coordinate safe, efficient underground development and construction execution for shaft sinking and lateral development at the Hermosa Project near Patagonia, Arizona. Partner with contractors and the project team to align work with environmental, health, safety, and loss control standards, support mine planning integration, and ensure QA/QC processes are implemented. Manage construction engineering coordination, contractor risk and contracts, logistics and planning controls, and contribute to continuous improvement and team leadership.

•Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with environmental and community relations policies.
•Coordinate construction engineering activities, including communication between S32, engineers, and contractors.
•Extract and interpret data from plans, engineering reports, and specifications to support contractor execution and procedure development.
•Support sourcing strategies and coordinate contractor risk assessments; manage construction contracts and vendor service performance.
•Promote safety culture through visible field leadership and support QA/QC processes, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technical Degree (Construction or similar) and appropriate trade qualifications (or equivalent experience).

•Experience managing construction contracts and vendor service contracts.
•Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a safe work culture, including visible field safety leadership.
