Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead data science for a Grant product area: set questions worth answering, build evidence, and decide next steps.
  • •Define and maintain the measurement system for the product area and contribute to the Grant-wide measurement framework.
  • •Own experimentation for the area, including guardrails, analysis, and recommendations on rollouts and policy changes.
  • •Build and evaluate ML models when appropriate, including offline evaluation, threshold/policy decisions, and production monitoring.
  • •Contribute staff-level technical direction and best practices for data science across Kikoff and help define how AI agents fit into the analysis loop.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 265,000 - 306,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Partner effectively with product, engineering, and marketing across strategy, goal setting, and execution.
  • •Define metrics from scratch and get teams to execute against them.
  • •Design and run experimentation, including quasi-experimental and causal inference approaches when randomization isn’t available.
  • •Hands-on with production-quality SQL and Python to build pipelines, analyses, and models.
  • •Experience building models that drive product decisions, and show how AI tools improved analytical speed and quality.
