Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead enterprise information architecture design by creating semantic, conceptual, and logical models that map to physical implementations in Azure Synapse and Databricks.
  • •Architect domain data models for commerce, manufacturing, and supply chain, reflecting business capabilities and enabling consistent data transformations.
  • •Design data product interfaces, semantic contracts, and semantic layer architectures that hide complexity and support self-service analytics.
  • •Review data architectural blueprints and physical model proposals across SAP, Salesforce, o9, and workforce management to maintain business continuity.
  • •Establish master data management strategies, data quality measures, and modeling standards (bronze/silver/gold), and mentor teams with governance and decision records.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience designing enterprise-scale information architectures (multi-source, multi-domain) that successfully went into production.
  • •Domain expertise in commerce, manufacturing, or supply chain data models (e.g., product hierarchies, inventory flows, customer journeys, merchandising analytics).
  • •Experience defining shared data models in modern lakehouse patterns, including silver-layer conformance and gold-layer consumption contracts.
  • •Practical experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball, Data Vault, etc.) and data mesh/lakehouse patterns, guiding teams through transitional architectures.
  • •Understanding of Azure data platform capabilities (Synapse, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Data Factory) and the ability to guide architectural decisions.
