Job Summary

Own hardware performance for a specific customer in the 300mm etch lab, providing third-level escalation for Hardware & Software stability issues. Drive failure analysis to identify long-term technical problems and develop fixes, including ECO review, field communication, and system performance reporting (e.g., MTBF/MTBI/availability). Support alpha and beta site installations, operations, calibration, service, and testing, and organize on-site training for early learning shipments and new product introductions.

Job Function: Laboratory & Clinical Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in new product introductions and early learning shipments, resolving critical long-term customer issues with upper management.
•Provide third-level escalation for Hardware & Software (stability) issues and engage in technical dialogue for customer escalations and availability requests.
•Drive failure analysis to identify long-term technical issues, develop resolution plans, and design corrections.
•Provide alpha and beta site support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and/or testing of new hardware, process, software, or processes on engineering/customer tools.
•Generate and present system performance data (e.g., MTBF/MTBI/availability), create/review technical documentation (CENs, BKMs, ECO-related materials), and organize on-site training for early learning shipments and new product introductions.

Travel: Medium travel

•Demonstrate depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline to support product hardware performance at the customer site.
•Provide troubleshooting support through third-level escalation for hardware and software stability issues.
•Lead complex problem solving using analytical judgment to identify innovative solutions and drive corrective design changes.
•Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
•Communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to align on technical decisions and viewpoints.
