Learn the Surface Data Logging (SDL) service line under direct supervision, collecting and reporting on-location geological and drilling data for customers. Develop fundamentals of drilling theory and mud logging techniques, including gathering cuttings by depth interval, maintaining interval records, and supporting gas system operations. Complete required induction and training to obtain safety/offshore/customer certifications and perform field work at designated rig sites.

•Under direct supervision, learn SDL service line duties for on-location geological and drilling data collection and customer reporting.
•Learn basics of drilling theory and mud logging techniques.
•Gather drilled cuttings by depth intervals and transport them.
•Keep records of intervals transported and maintain a clean work area.
•Attend training and complete induction and safety/offshore/customer-specific certification appointments to work on designated rig sites.

Key Requirements

•Skills acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline or Geology, with ability to demonstrate technical aptitude.
•Good communication skills, arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills.
•Successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements.
