Job Summary

Provide managerial oversight for a manufacturing facility’s utility systems and building infrastructure, owning daily operations, maintenance, and capital planning/execution. Manage annual capital and maintenance/repair budgets (including personnel costs), support facility engineering/maintenance strategy, and lead a technical team of approximately 70 FTEs. Coordinate utility/building maintenance schedules and process improvements, guide facility-based engineer staff, and ensure compliance with environmental and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide managerial oversight and technical support for facility utility systems and building infrastructure operations and maintenance.
•Develop, maintain, implement, and report capital budgets for utilities and building infrastructure, including maintenance and repair budgets with personnel costs.
•Manage planning, supervision, and scheduling for utility systems and building infrastructure projects and communicate schedule/specification changes across the facility.
•Lead and provide managerial oversight and technical guidance to facility-based engineer staff; support projects initiated by Supply Chain.
•Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and government laws by coordinating with state and federal representatives.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food processing industry managing a diverse, technical staff and capital projects.

•Experience with utility systems, refrigeration, construction, government regulations, and PSM.
•Good written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently, and a results-oriented approach.
