Job Summary

Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that turn cleansed data from a localised data warehouse into commercial insights. Partner with business leaders to gather reporting requirements, provide BI service desk support for users, and optimize T-SQL queries. Maintain documentation for report specifications and user guides, collaborate across a matrix organization, and contribute to team priorities while supporting the Head of BI & Data and the BI function.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide service desk support by addressing user inquiries and resolving issues related to BI tools and reports.
•Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and align deliverables with business needs.
•Independently write and optimize T-SQL queries and continuously improve using guidance from senior team members.
•Maintain documentation related to report specifications, processes, and user guides.

Key Requirements

•Use Power BI (or equivalent analytics/visualisation tools like Tableau) with strong understanding of data flows and data organisation.
•Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar BI role.
•Be competent in T-SQL and be able to independently write and optimise queries.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on high-quality output under tight timescales.
•Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills; confident working in a matrix organisation.
