Job Summary

Finance and Controlling Analyst role supporting the Finance Director in Bulgaria with P&L monitoring, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis. You’ll contribute to process improvements, month-end closures, and strategic cost optimization projects within a mid-senior finance team at Glovo (Delivery Hero).

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Finance Director in monitoring and managing the P&L, providing data, insights, and follow-ups to meet financial targets.
•Help design and maintain strong financial controls through checks, reconciliations, and quality reviews across key finance processes.
•Contribute to automation and improvements of finance workflows and reporting to streamline data flows.
•Participate in month-end closing procedures for local and group reporting by validating data from accountants and submitting financials to Group Reporting.
•Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly re-forecasting to ensure accurate financial planning; support ad-hoc analyses and strategic cost/projects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting required; Master’s degree is a plus.
•2+ years of Audit/Controlling experience; national and international exposure is a plus.
•Strong technical knowledge of accounting and compliance issues; knowledge of digital industry issues is a plus.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Excel and strong data analytics.
•Experience using Navision or other general ledger packages is a plus; ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
