Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of traction power distribution systems, including substations, overhead catenary systems (OCS), and third rail systems.
  • •Support the development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • •Perform calculations related to voltage drop, current flow, and power system performance.
  • •Assist in the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
  • •Conduct field inspections and site visits to gather data and observe construction activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Experience with electrical power systems, circuit analysis and electrical theory
  • •Experience with AC and DC power concepts
  • •Experience with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, SKM Power Tools)
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within two years of hire
