Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of process engineering deliverable documents for mineral processing plants covering assigned aspects of projects.
  • •Conduct research and preliminary design calculations and analysis, and support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
  • •Collect and maintain project documentation and ensure responsibilities are delivered to meet or exceed industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.
  • •Lead larger-scale engineering projects by coordinating contributors and deliverables, monitoring budgets/hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors and contract work.
  • •Mentor staff, collaborate across disciplines, and help identify business development opportunities for high-level chemical engineering services.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Mineral Process Engineering.
  • •10+ years of process engineering experience on mining, mineral processing, or metallurgical capital projects, including gold heap leaching, copper flotation, hydrometallurgical plants, and/or solvent extraction process design.
  • •Familiarity with HAZOP and process safety review methodologies as a participant or study node leader.
  • •Experience in EPCM projects, reviewing and coordinating engineering deliverables from sub-consultants and turnkey package manufacturers.
  • •Highly proficient technical writing and computations, with strong interpersonal communication and the ability to guide mid-level to senior team or project members with QA/QC adherence.
