Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive systems thinking, processes, and capabilities for core products including Altius, Anvil, Bolt, and Ghost.
  • •Partner with product leads to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities aligned to company milestones and product requirements.
  • •Drive architectural design considerations for safety, reliability, usability, modularity, upgradability, maintainability, and diagnosability across systems and interfaces.
  • •Lead system hazard analyses and subsystem failure modes/effects analyses to define safety and reliability requirements and verification & validation strategies.
  • •Coordinate test events from in-lab software simulations to flight test, interpreting defense and industry standards for safety and interoperability while resolving cross-team dependencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in an engineering field (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or related).
  • •5+ years of experience in defense or safety-critical industries using reliability, safety, hazard analysis, and requirements-driven verification & validation.
  • •Ability to apply engineering standards to engineering processes and produce verifiable system and subsystem requirements.
  • •Experience with safety & reliability analyses such as PHAs, SHAs, FME(C)As, or FTAs.
  • •Proficiency with systems engineering and Python, plus familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and release processes.
