Job Summary

Provide project management leadership for high voltage and EHV transmission line projects across the full lifecycle—from proposal and planning through execution, reporting, and closeout. Own budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and risk contingencies while ensuring contractual obligations and QA/QC standards are met. Lead stakeholder engagement, coordinate technical reviews and resources, support pursuits and “Go/No-Go” decisions, and deliver regular client reporting and project recovery support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV transmission line projects, overseeing design, budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and contractual delivery expectations.
•Develop stakeholder engagement strategies, maintain client relationships, and report on project progress and status.
•Support pursuit/initiation activities including “Go/No-Go” decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation strategies, and pricing reviews.
•Select and drive technical reviews and ensure adherence to the QA/QC plan and required documentation (risk, project management plan, project quality plan, project safety, communications plan).
•Lead project kick-off and closeout activities, including monthly status reporting, problem project reviews, and lessons-learned meetings; may lead contract negotiations and client presentations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field in the Power & Energy Market.
•7+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role in the Power Delivery/Utility industry.
•Minimum of 5 years experience working and/or providing engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
•Minimum of 3 years leading engineering and/or construction teams for medium to large electrical utility scale clients on high voltage and/or extra high voltage transmission line projects.
•Experience with project management processes and tools including contract management, earned value management, risk management, change management, schedule management (CPM/Primavera P6 or equivalent), and financial management.
