Job Summary

Oversee daily production shift operations to ensure targets, safety standards, and quality controls are consistently met. Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials, monitor workflow and key performance metrics, and resolve issues during the shift. Lead shift team coordination, conduct training/mentoring and effective handoffs, perform routine quality and safety checks, maintain shift records, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage shift operations by coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production targets and schedules.
•Coordinate production operators and address shift personnel issues; serve as the point of contact between shift workers and management.
•Ensure quality control and compliance by performing routine checks and enforcing safety protocols.
•Respond to issues during the shift, coordinating with maintenance and other departments to resolve operational problems promptly.
•Maintain accurate shift performance records and report to the Site Operations Leader; identify improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) or related technical field.
•3–10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment in the chemical industry, preferably in a coordination role.
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
•Familiarity with general manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
•Proficient oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate shift teams; ability to work shift-based in a fast-paced environment.
