Key Responsibilities

  • •Support engineers and project teams in the design and delivery of electric utility projects involving substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems.
  • •Assist with detailed design of low- to extra-high-voltage substations, including physical design, equipment specifications, foundation design, and construction support.
  • •Support site grading and drainage design, including erosion control and SWPPP development for substation facilities.
  • •Assist with design of overhead and underground distribution systems up to 25kV and transmission line projects up to 230kV.
  • •Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, technical reports, specifications, and project documentation, and participate in design reviews and QA/QC activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited university.
  • •0 to 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • •Strong understanding of fundamental civil engineering principles.
  • •Demonstrated interest in utility infrastructure, substations, transmission, and/or distribution projects.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively with teams and clients.
