Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage quantity surveying and cost consultancy duties, including pre- and post-contract work.
  • •Produce cost estimates and manage tender processes, reviewing tender returns and advising clients on procurement routes.
  • •Attend meetings, prepare financial reports, and monitor project status throughout delivery.
  • •Perform cost checks and carry out valuations, value engineering, and ensure the project remains on budget from design to completion.
  • •Handle full post-contract duties, including variations and evaluating and negotiating final account settlements, while supporting junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Masters in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
  • •RICS professional membership (or working towards it) and demonstrable consultancy experience.
  • •Experience with high-value, complex projects in a consultancy environment.
  • •Desirable: experience in defence, workplace, retail, commercial, or mixed-use sectors.
  • •Strong communication, numeracy, negotiation, organisational skills, and ability to work independently to tight deadlines.
