Job Summary

A hands-on Engine Overhaul Technician in Emirates Engineering’s Engine Maintenance Centre, responsible for mentoring mechanics and performing assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repairs, refurbishment, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft engines and components, while ensuring OEM and company procedures compliance, safety and efficiency.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out maintenance and repair on engines, modules and piece parts, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair and reassembly.
•Ensure all allocated tasks are completed per OEM data and EEMC/EOW documentation and procedures.
•Monitor and mentor peers and new technicians to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
•Complete tasks using Engine Shop Manual (ESM), IPC and CMM, and ensure paperwork in the MRO ERP (IFS) system is updated.
•Maintain shift attendance and accurate clock-in/out to prevent delays in turnaround time and communicate effectively with clients/stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Graduate (12+2) and Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organization
•5+ years in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft/Engine (B1 and B2) Technician with a reputable airline or MRO
•Experience with Engine QEC/Assembly & Disassembly (including borescope inspections, removal/installation of components, engine mounts and major modules)
•Experience with Module Assembly & Disassembly, balancing and use of measuring equipment for serviceability
•Knowledge of Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SB) and ability to interpret Engine Maintenance documentation (ESM, IPC, CMM)
