Job Summary

Create and revise aircraft and system-level technical publications/manuals for aerospace products in compliance with airworthiness and regulatory requirements. Author documents such as AMM, MP, CMM/CMP, IPD, WDM, FIM, and Service Bulletins, interpret engineering drawings and schematics, and ensure standards compliance including S1000D, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100. Manage content in CSDB with XML-based tools and coordinate with illustrators.

Key Responsibilities

•Author and revise technical manuals and publications including AMM, MP, CMM/CMP, IPD, WDM, FIM, and Service Bulletins.
•Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams to develop accurate maintenance procedures.
•Ensure authored content complies with industry standards such as S1000D, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100.
•Manage technical content in a CSDB environment, including creating and managing Data Modules (DMs).
•Use XML-based authoring tools to create and maintain structured content and collaborate with illustrators to integrate technical illustrations.

Key Requirements

•B. Tech/B. E in Electronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Instrumentation (or equivalent) with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in technical authoring in the aerospace or defense industry.
•In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with S1000D, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100.
•Advanced proficiency with XML/SGML structured authoring tools such as PTC Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker (Structured), or Oxygen XML Editor.
•Experience working with databases/tools such as Team Center, SAP, Agile PLM, Windchill, 3D Via, and work tracker tools like JIRA.
•Experience with CAD and technical illustration tools such as PTC Iso Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and CATIA V5 for producing illustrations.
