Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan outstanding teaching and learning in line with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy, creating a conducive learning climate.
  • •Set clear targets and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of SEN (POD), EAL, and G&T students.
  • •Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning, deliver differentiated lessons, and assess achievement.
  • •Use ICT to enhance learning and progress; maintain discipline per the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy and expectations for punctuality and standards.
  • •Mark and record student progress, prepare reports for parents, attend parent/student events, and contribute to subject development and curriculum planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • •Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
  • •Experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum.
  • •Proven success teaching across the ability/age range.
  • •Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD), with resilience and problem-solving skills.
