Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and disseminate best practices for special education policies and procedures in collaboration with school leadership
  • •Support administration and teachers with training on special education programs and services; liaise with districts and state leaders to ensure compliance
  • •Develop contracts with service providers and manage the related services database to track services and costs
  • •Oversee development, compliance, maintenance, and implementation of RED, MEEGS, and IEP processes
  • •Ensure fiscal compliance for special education programs including IDEA Part B funds and reporting

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree AND
  • •Three (3) years of special education teaching experience OR
  • •Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • •Ability to clear required background check
  • •Special Education Teacher Certification and School Administrator certificate are required
