Job Summary

Shape and elevate the visual narrative of the company’s digital ecosystem. Own the look, feel, and cohesive storytelling across web, mobile, portals, and emerging touchpoints while leading a team of designers. Define and enforce a unified design system, translate digital roadmaps into user-centric creative execution, partner with product, engineering, content, and marketing, and use data and usability testing to continuously improve the experience.

•Define, evolve, and enforce a cohesive visual identity and design system across the digital ecosystem.
•Translate digital strategies and roadmaps into high-quality, user-centric design execution while safeguarding design quality and brand consistency.
•Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of innovation and thought leadership in design thinking.
•Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and Marketing to integrate design excellence into agile development from concept to launch.
•Use data, user feedback, and usability testing to iterate on designs and advocate for the best possible user experience.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 135,000 - 150,000

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in digital design, including 3+ years leading or managing creative teams.
•Portfolio demonstrating deep understanding of UX/UI, responsive web design, mobile applications, and complex digital ecosystems.
•Deep familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Claude Code, and Windsurf.
•Strong ability to translate design into front-end code concepts (HTML/CSS/JS).
•Proven track record building, scaling, and maintaining comprehensive digital design systems.
