Key Responsibilities

  • •Exercise safe driving practices to transport live poultry or poultry feed in a safe and secure manner.
  • •Comply with DOT safety rules and regulations and all company, local, state, and federal requirements.
  • •Perform and document pre-trip inspections and maintain proper documentation for equipment, time, trips, and weight.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading trailer as necessary and ensure secure load before movement.
  • •Clean and wash the truck and report maintenance issues to a supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum age of 21.
  • •Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
  • •Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal laws.
  • •Ability to read and write legibly.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; previous live poultry tractor trailer driving experience is preferred.
