Job Summary

Grow HSBC Private Bank’s UK franchise by acquiring and covering HNW and, when appropriate, UHNW clients with an Asian nexus. Originate new business through your external referral network, increase AUM and net new money, and maintain regular client contact. Support portfolio management and partner with Investment Specialists, Credit Specialists, and the Wealth Planning team, while adhering to KYC/CCR and UK regulatory and cross-border marketing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Originate new business and grow revenue by increasing AUM and net new money (NNM) through your external referral network.
•Manage and develop client relationships through regular contact and client meetings.
•Support clients’ portfolio management by partnering with Investment Specialists on allocation and ongoing reviews aligned to objectives and risk appetite.
•Identify and deliver lending opportunities with Credit Specialists for both secured and unsecured lending needs.
•Maintain risk and control discipline by following KYC/CCR requirements, complying with UK regulatory standards, and promptly actioning audit/regulatory requests.

Key Requirements

•Proven track record in Asian Private Banking client acquisition and portfolio management.
•Demonstrable success building and leveraging an external referral network to generate new-to-bank business.
•UK FCA RDR Level 4 qualification (minimum) or equivalent.
•Strong understanding of the UK regulatory environment plus deep knowledge of financial markets and complex wealth solutions (including lending).
•Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin or fluent spoken Cantonese.
