Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes and deliver stock to customers.
  • •Support the Driver’s Mate and Warehouse team with loading/unloading stock.
  • •Build strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
  • •Use local area knowledge to deliver safely and on time.
  • •Keep health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a current and valid Class 2 Driver’s Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
  • •Have up-to-date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
  • •Have knowledge of the local region to support safe, on-time deliveries.
  • •Provide customer service during deliveries and interactions with customers.
  • •Manual handling experience and/or training is desirable (full training provided during induction).
