Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape the technical vision for NAND cell film and lead enterprise-wide programs advancing innovative breakthroughs.
  • •Own and update the cell film process technology roadmap, including external collaborations, benchmarking, and high-impact technical deliverables.
  • •Influence industry and cross-disciplinary teams through external collaborations, consortia/conferences, and collaborative research initiatives.
  • •Solve challenging technical problems using comprehensive RCA; advocate for cost savings, efficiency, and large-scale yield enhancement strategies.
  • •Initiate strategic collaborations with external partners (universities/research institutes), assess technical risks, and guide roadmap and investment prioritization decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD with 15+ years, or Master’s with 17+ years, of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • •Thin Film R&D for NAND with experience in Diffusion, CVD, and Cell Film technologies.
  • •Proven track record architecting technical solutions and process-device correlation, with publications and/or patents.
  • •Deep expertise and recognized authority in ALD/CVD thin film technologies, including leading new deposition methods, materials, and integration strategies for 3D NAND scaling.
  • •Mastery of advanced characterization and electrical evaluation (SIMS, XPS, TEM, EELS, APT, electrical stress testing) to build predictive models for HAR structures, defect behavior, and reliability performance.
