Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the EBS Valuation team to produce Best Estimate Liabilities (BEL) and support Bermuda Solvency Capital requirement (BSCR) determination for offshore entities
  • •Serve as Approved Actuary and Head of EBS Valuation team
  • •Drive BEL valuation automation and process improvement
  • •Analyze and explain movements in BEL to management and provide insights related to the EBS framework
  • •Support risk and other teams on BSCR and capital metrics under internal/external stress scenarios, including audit/regulatory and ad-hoc BEL/BSCR requests

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years’ experience in the (re)insurance industry
  • •FSA (or equivalent)
  • •Experience with Bermuda EBS framework
  • •Strong technical and communication skills
  • •Strong Excel knowledge (Power Query is a plus) and leadership skills
