Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate a variety of conventional and CNC/NC equipment to perform machining operations to established methods and procedures.
•Set up and perform bench assembly, pressure, leakage, and spin balance tests.
•Prepare and perform bench operations such as hand polishing, grit blasting, shop peening, deburring, tumbling, etching and grinding.
•Set up and operate ovens for drying, aging and curing product.
•Receive, unload, check, record, prepare, inventory, store, disburse and deliver a variety of materials, products and equipment.

Key Requirements

•2 years of experience with setup and operating a variety of machine tools (manual lathes, milling machines) to machine precision components per specifications.
•Set up and operate a variety of conventional and CNC/NC equipment to perform machining operations per established methods and procedures.
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
•3rd shift availability and ability to work onsite in Windsor Locks, CT.
•Ability to follow operation sheets, drawings, and shop travelers, and use measuring instruments to verify configurations.
