Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and approve specialty lending requests for private banking/UHNW clients, including custom lending, partner lending, and SBL products.
  • •Perform underwriting and credit analysis using Citizens Private Bank credit policy, guidelines, and regulatory requirements; verify accuracy and completeness of underwriting/analysis.
  • •Manage the end-to-end loan process from hand-off to approval recommendation, funding/closing coordination, and post-closing requests.
  • •Monitor lending pipeline efficiency and closing deadlines, supporting workflow and pipeline management.
  • •Review financial statements and credit history to assess creditworthiness, advise/ negotiate loan structures, and maintain compliance and fiduciary obligations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (MBA asset).
  • •3–5+ years of credit risk experience in financial services, ideally specialty lending, custom lending, or securities-based lending (SBL).
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis tools, and banking software.
  • •In-depth knowledge of bank loan, deposit, mortgage, and credit products, including credit administration and compliance procedures.
