Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage/lead multiple-skills employees performing Materials & Process and Equipment engineering activities across weapons programs.
  • •Partner with program and engineering leadership to establish and execute technical strategies, business plans, policies, and procedures.
  • •Staff, direct, advise, and develop individuals to meet program requirements and advance technical leadership and professional development.
  • •Lead NOE investigations and drive corrective actions internally and throughout the supply base, including supplier technical support and mitigation strategies.
  • •Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches/products/processes, including budgets and execution of capital projects from forecasting through implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor, Master, or Doctor of Science degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • •At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of Boeing’s internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • •5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or electrical/instrumentation engineering.
  • •Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; a final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required.
  • •U.S. Citizenship is required for the required U.S. Security Clearance.
