Job Summary

Lead daily maintenance and repairs for mobile equipment while supervising mechanics and preventative maintenance personnel. Run pre-shift safety culture activities, promote PPE adherence and 5S, and perform equipment inspection/certification. Direct R&M work through scheduling and coordination, using CMMS for work orders and PM service needs, and manage repair prioritization, task assignment, and parts/service PO coding. Communicate updates on down assets and repair schedules with operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide proactive leadership promoting the organization’s Safety Culture, including leading and participating in daily pre-shift meetings.
•Supervise mechanics and preventative maintenance personnel and support maintenance of the repair facility.
•Promote PPE adherence and the principals of 5S; conduct routine inspection and certification of equipment.
•Direct R&M services with effective scheduling and coordination, using CMMS for work orders and PM service needs.
•Assign tasks based on mechanic skill and repair difficulty, prioritize repairs by asset/cost/time, and utilize Infield and PO approvals for time/cost coding and parts/supplies/services.

Key Requirements

•Diesel Mechanic experience required.
•Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, Cat ET, Cummins Insite, and Detroit programs.
•Must have a current driver’s license.
•Demonstrates good performance, safety and attendance.
•Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to read and interpret safety and operating/maintenance documents.
