Key Responsibilities

  • •Support manufacturing operations in a high-interrupt, rapidly ramping tool install environment.
  • •Develop and implement inspection strategy and defect disposition processes to improve efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
  • •Develop new processes for advanced node development with high-volume manufacturing in mind.
  • •Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time in a 300mm wafer fab.
  • •Execute equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs), participate in data analysis/problem resolution, and provide training to junior colleagues and technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of semiconductor industry experience as a Defect Metrology Engineer or Metrology Process Engineer.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • •Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies.
  • •Ability to develop processes from conception through high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong verbal and written communication.
